was a Senior Fellow and Programme Director at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) from 1984 to 2014. He also was Director of Information Technology  at SIPRI for the same period of time.

A cooperation with the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) on a database project on research organizations in the area of International Security.
